First Aid for Matilda

Poor Matilda has sore feet! She went off in the bush for too long, must have travelled a very long way on very rough ground. She came home with all her paws lacerated and swollen from the ground she was running on.

So her mum (Dr Joan) bathed her feet, applied wound lotions and bandaged her feet with soft padded bandages.

Matilda will also receive pain relief medication.

Kids who have studied Topic 3 will have a pretty good idea of how this treatment was carried out.
